Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026. This policy covers the Tempo’s Alphabet website (temposalphabet.com) and the Tempo’s Alphabet app, published by Abrupt Software. We collect as little data as we can.
Overview
Tempo’s Alphabet collects minimal data: anonymous usage statistics, advertising identifiers, emails you send us, and game data stored locally on your device. The app is rated Teen and is not directed at children under 13.
Information we collect
Usage data. Our hosting and analytics provider may receive your IP address (used for approximate location), device type, operating system, browser, and the pages you view.
Advertising identifiers. Google AdMob and Google AdSense may collect your device’s advertising ID for ad personalization, measurement, and fraud prevention.
Contact information. If you email us, your message and address are stored with Microsoft Outlook in the United States.
Local storage. Game progress, such as saved clues and unlock codes, is stored on your own device (in the app or in your browser’s local storage). It is not sent to us.
Screenshots. The in-game screenshot feature saves content on your device only. It does not use the camera, and nothing is sent to us.
App store data. We receive aggregate, anonymous download and device statistics from the Google Play Console.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect your name, device IDs, images, videos, transaction history, or activity logs. Google Sign-In is disabled.
How we use information
To deliver the app and website features, improve them, display and measure ads, and respond to your emails.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to run the site: our web host and analytics provider (Cloudflare), Microsoft Outlook (email), and Google (advertising). We do not sell your information, and we do not share it otherwise except when required by law. Embedded content such as YouTube videos and games hosted on pages.dev subdomains is governed by those services’ own policies.
Advertising and cookies
We show ads through Google. Google and its partners may use cookies and advertising IDs to serve ads based on your visits here and elsewhere. You can opt out of personalized ads at Google Ad Settings.
International transfers
If you visit from the EU, UK, or elsewhere, your data may be processed in the United States, with safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not participate in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access to, correction, deletion, or portability of your data, or opt out of personalized ads. Email AbruptSoftware@hotmail.com. We respond within 30 days (45 days for California CCPA requests).
Children’s privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it. Our ad networks are not configured to treat the app as child-directed.
Changes
We will announce significant updates on the website or in the app.
